Things to do

The Cedar Park Library has a calendar full of activities for all ages; story time for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, puppet shows, weekly movies and a reading club in the summer for the kids, family story time on Saturday mornings, and after school programs for elementary school and teens.  Ms. Jane in the children’s section is wonderful! 550 Discovery Blvd 78613. The Cedar Park Center hosts the Austin Spurs Basketball team, the Texas Stars Hockey team, as well as concerts, live shows, trade shows, etc… 2100 Ave of the Stars, Cedar Park  

Austin’s children’s museum, The Thinkery, is a great place to spend the afternoon letting your kids explore.  Geared towards toddlers to twelve years old. Main Event: (512) 401-0000   13301 North 183 78750.  Bowling alley, rock wall climbing, video arcade, laser tag, glow in the dark miniature golf, billiards, shuffle board.  Fun place for the family or for a date night. 

Dave & Busters: (512) 346-8015   9333 Research Blvd.  Similar to Main Event, but the food is of a higher quality, better menu variety, and the environment is geared towards adults.  Makes a great date night!
